Inspired by the beautiful surroundings of the Ashdown Forest, you will often find me creating whimsical and magical ceramics in my home studio. I love clay: it is my happy place. I hope the items I create will make you happy too and leave a little sparkle in your soul.

Hi, I am Jude from Jude’s Heart and Soul Ceramics: the home of whimsical porcelain pieces for your home as well as colourful tableware.
In 2021, encouraged by 'Mr Heart and Soul', I took a year sabbatical from teaching as a school SENCo, to explore other creative avenues. I came across clay...the most wonderful medium to work in that truly captured my heart and soul....that is where the adventure began.
I quickly fell in love with throwing clay on the wheel and in 2023 I built a home studio, nestled at the bottom of our garden, on the edge of the Ashdown Forest.
The studio is now home to 'Bertha', my beautiful kiln and often the ginger beast 'Rufus', who loves a clay recycling bucket almost as much as I do.
I have so many future plans for my studio, to combine my present passion for clay and my belief in nurturing all children's talents, particularly those that are the most vulnerable, so watch this space.
